She openly admits to being a computer nerd.
As a young girl Rachel quickly realized that re-invention combined with an optimistic attitude was the key for life success. In 1996 she graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Houston with a double degree in Management and Entrepreneurship. Her Junior year out of 70 applicants she was selected to be part of an elite 30 and join, The Wolf Center for Entrepreneurship. While in the program she was on the Dean’s list as well as awarded the Dover Club Scholarship.
Change breeds opportunity and in January 2010 Lending Hand was born. 12 years in banking with various lending roles and institutions combined with 10 years in the service industry lead her to creating Lending Hand's motto of: plan, fund and implement.
To support the vision, independent representation was the key to the pursuit of ethical lending from multiple sources.
She spends her free time with her husband, 3 sons and extended family as well as giving back by serving on committees and holding various board positions in her community.
